Aldi Uk may be the typical UK grocery and specialbuys store, but its digital branding is absolutely delightful! I stumbled on their Instagram page once and I was quite taken with the brand’s look and feel. Today on brand spotlight the ALDI UK brand, is another amazing digital brand to draw inspiration from.
If brands are supposed to give a digital experience using Instagram, ALDI UK does just that! Their Instagram feed is absolutely breathtaking, with various mouthwatering dishes arranged so beautifully and carefully, spilling into each other.
On first glance, the page seems like the typical food-porn feed, where various dishes are laid on fine white plates and clean backgrounds, but on further inspection, you realize that ALDI is serving you a total culinary experience via its Instagram feed.

Making use of seasonal themes, the brand creates dining experiences to captivate its users. This is probably one of the most brilliant uses of grids I have seen on Instagram.
On Facebook, the brand makes use of exciting video marketing techniques, showcasing its best offerings and services to customers. The use of snackable video content is a huge part of their Facebook strategy, and it looks like it really works, going by the amount of engagement under each video post. You can see more of their Facebook page here.
On Twitter, you can quickly tell that ALDI is more into utilizing the platform’s microblogging feature as it is. The posts on Twitter are quite short and simple, with a feed from the brand blog apparently feeding the Twitter page.
Interestingly, ALDI Uk also has a healthy Pinterest page, and a cursory visit will definitely inspire you as a creator, especially if you are working on building a food brand online.
You can definitely learn a thing or two from the ALDI to create that exciting look and feel you have always wanted for your brand online.
